Our Tipis take inspiration from the Kata, the traditional home of the semi-nomadic Sami people, who are the indigenous people of northern Norway, Sweden, Finland and the Kola Peninsula of Russia.
The Kata is a simple cone-shaped frame of wooden poles covered with animal hides, with an opening at the top to let the smoke out.
Our tipis are based on the traditional designs principles of Sami Kata, coupled with innovative new features, modern materials and the latest construction techniques.
Today, Tipis are one of the most popular and versatile event structures in the UK and are used for weddings, parties, festivals and corporate functions.

Giant Hat Kata Tipi
Giant Hat Kata Tipi – An increasingly popular feature in the coolest Events, Venues & Festivals, the Giant Hat Kata is the largest Tipi in our range, with a capacity for 70 people seated & 120 standing. The unique design allows its sides to be raised, but also allows as many Tipis as you desire to be joined together.

The Mini Hat Kata is equally at home as part of a larger event structure or on its own. Our Mini Hat is quick to erect and provides a stylish, yet simple canopy for entertaining. Made from the same high performance canvas as its bigger brothers, and constructed with the same loving, caring hands.
